Joshua Eric Eppard, né le 6 décembre 1979 à Kingston (État de New York), est un musicien américain, principalement connu comme le batteur du groupe de rock progressif Coheed and Cambria.
Biographie
[modifier | modifier le code]Josh Eppard est membre fondateur du groupe 3, formé à Woodstock (New York) avec son frère Joey Eppard. Il rejoint ensuite Coheed and Cambria, avec lequel il participe à plusieurs albums majeurs du rock progressif moderne, dont The Second Stage Turbine Blade (2002) et In Keeping Secrets of Silent Earth: 3 (2003).
En 2006, Eppard quitte temporairement le groupe. Il expliquera plus tard que cette décision est liée à des problèmes d’addiction aggravés par un rythme de tournées intensif. Il réintègre officiellement Coheed and Cambria en 2011.
Parallèlement, il développe un projet hip-hop sous le nom de Weerd Science, avec plusieurs albums mêlant rap introspectif et rock alternatif. Il est également membre du supergroupe Terrible Things, actif à partir de 2009[1],[2],[3].
