Ku Ix était le quatrième souverain (ajaw) de la dynastie maya des rois de Copán fondée par Kʼinich Yax Kʼukʼ Moʼ. Il reconstruisit le temple 10L-26 de l'Acropole, y érigeant une stèle et une marche hiéroglyphique à sa base[1]. Bien que ce roi soit également mentionné sur quelques autres fragments de sculpture, aucune date n'accompagne son nom[2].
