Leviellus est un genre d'araignées aranéomorphes de la famille des Araneidae[1].
Distribution

Systématique et taxinomie
[modifier | modifier le code]Ce genre a été décrit par Wunderlich en 2004 dans les Zygiellidae. Il est placé dans les Phonognathidae par Kuntner et al. en 2023[2] puis dans les Araneidae par Hormiga et al. en 2023[3].
Stroemiellus[4] a été placé en synonymie par Gregorič, Agnarsson, Blackledge et Kuntner en 2015[5].
Étymologie
[modifier | modifier le code]Ce genre est nommé en l'honneur de Herbert Walter Levi[4].
